The original design was made for the elite regiments of heavy cavalry that battled at Waterloo and most of Europe's other major conflicts in the early 19th century. For a great many years now, we have been making variants of this boot for motorcyclists, dressage riders, historical re-enactors and general boot lovers who want a classy and richly traditional pair of tall boots. They look stunning when worn with leather pants or jeans. Since we are true custom boot-makers, you can specify the degree of firmness or rigidity you'd like in the shaft and have your custom-made boots mounted on your choice of either a stitched leather or rubber lug sole. Leather-lined throughout for comfort, the Sologne can be made in any of our full range of leathers and are available in boot sizes 36 through 49.

You will be asked to select a boot size. Our boot sizes are based on the European shoe sizing system, which is unisex. The Boot Size menu below will have USA Men's sizes included to make it easier for our customers to choose the right size. Important Note: If your Boot Size is European Size 47 or larger, there will be an additional charge of $100 to cover the extra material needed.
You will be asked to select a material and color for your boot. For most boots, you will only need to select one type of material and color choice. However, some boots have a secondary color you will need to choose for detailing or accents.
