A century-old classic, originally designed around a pair of motorcycle boots worn by a U.S. Army dispatch rider in France during WWI, the Aviator has been one of our most popular walking-riding boots as well as a must-have for vintage automobile, motorcycle and aviation buffs and globe-trotting adventurers who want a touch of period authenticity for their expeditions. We have made these boots for competitors in the Peking-Paris classic car rally, a vintage motorcycling expedition through Baja, Mexico, and a stylish re-enactment of a French nobleman's 1908 automobile tour through southeast Asia. The Aviator not only looks the part, but is tough enough to handle any conditions, from jungles to deserts to high Asian steppes, and they are comfortable enough to wear every day for weeks on end. The fully sewn gusset keeps out all types of weather. Eyelets and speed hooks can be placed to suit your personal preference. And while the Aviator looks great with the traditional double-thickness stitched-leather sole, it can also be built on our chunky rubber lug sole as well - your choice. Choose from our full range of leathers and have them custom-made to your measurements and specification. Available in boot sizes 36 - 48 on our round toe last as shown or on different lasts through to size 54. Full custom fitting for both the foot and leg.

You will be asked to select a boot size. Our boot sizes are based on the European shoe sizing system, which is unisex. The Boot Size menu below will have USA Men's sizes included to make it easier for our customers to choose the right size. Important Note: If your Boot Size is European Size 47 or larger, there will be an additional charge of $100 to cover the extra material needed.

You will be asked to select a material and color for your boot. For most boots, you will only need to select one type of material and color choice. However, some boots have a secondary color you will need to choose for detailing or accents.
